#runicosia (2nd edition)

The second edition of the exciting #runicosia race is taking place on Sunday January 14^th, 2024. A unique race, in the heart of the city, where runners must encounter so many different surface elements. Strolling in tile paved pedestrian roads, running up marble staircases and speeding over clay sections parallel to the city Venetian walls comprise an interesting, yet very different racecourse. The #runicosia event comprises a 4km run4fun race for run and walk,  8km, and a 4x4km relay race, all of them starting at the upper concourse of the Eleftherias Square.

The participation fee for the 4km race is €12.5 and €17.5.00 for the 8km race, whereas for the 4-member relay team is €50.00 There will be special prices and discounts for team participations for companies and organizations, running clubs, Cyprus National Guard, Cyprus Police, Cyprus Fire Brigade, British Forces personnel and UNFICYP personnel. Cyprus National Guard conscript soldiers can participate free of charge. Registration fee for the race includes the Finisher’s Medal, a BIB with an electronic timing chip from MyLaps, water at the refueling stations and at the finish line water, fruit, and rosewater.
