It’s a style of running event that is growing in popularity because it’s about more than running, it’s about running as a team. It’s an adventurous team event for competitive demanding runners who will have to encounter so many different surface elements. Strolling in pedestrian streets paved with tiles, running up marble staircases and speeding over clay sections parallel to the city Venetian walls comprise an interesting yet very different racecourse. Each of the runners will have to complete a 3.5km loop before handing over the baton to the next runner. The changeover of the baton will be taking place by the starting line at the west end of Costakis Pantelides Street on the top level of the Eleftherias Square.The cost of participation in the race is €60 (sixty euros), while teams comprising conscript National Guard soldiers can participate free of charge. Registration for the race includes the Finisher’s Medal, a BIB with an electronic timing chip from MyLaps and at finish line water and fruit.
