The Xystarouda Trail kicks off from the picturesque village of Mylikouri, leading runners through shaded forest trails and rugged paths that showcase the region’s rich natural beauty.
🔹 The first section follows the river Platy, providing a fast and smooth start before transitioning into a steady climb towards Komititzi Picnic Area.
🔹 At the 8.64 km mark, runners face the steepest uphill section (+26.7%), a true test of stamina.
🔹 After reaching the highest point at 10.53 km, a thrilling 1.53 km descent begins, rewarding runners with technical downhill terrain.
🔹 The final stretch brings a mix of rolling hills and fast forest paths, leading back to Mylikouri for a triumphant finish.
