The Miners’ Trail (12.2km)

The runners’ starting point is at the Troodos Geopark Visitors Center at the very heard of the Amiantos old mine (1.335 m altitude); the runners across the old mine and they come across one of the hardest uphill points of the race, the Amiantos mine hills (path of 3km), leading to the slopes of the Olympus Mountain full of pine and fir trees. Then the runners will follow a forest road leading to the Almyrolivado picnic area. Leaving behind the picnic area the runners will follow a moderate downhill for about 2km (10%) and after that, once the runners reach the boy scouts renowned camping site of “Loumata ton Aeton” (refreshment station) will enter a trail into a downhill direction until the Amiantos Lake on the 8.7km. This is the point where runners will enter the old mine area. Following the road (mixed surface) will reach the finish line at the Troodos Geopark Visitors Center

The runners will receive a beautiful finishers medal, soft drinks, and traditional delicacies
