It is the first time, in Cyprus, where during a race, runners have to encounter so many different surface elements. Strolling in pedestrian streets paved with tiles, running up marble staircases and speeding over clay sections parallel to the city Venetian walls comprise an interesting yet very different race course. A double 3.5km loop will be the racecourse of the #runicosia 8km race which will start at the west end of the Costakis Pantelides Street at the top level of the Eleftherias Square.

The cost of participation in the race is €15 (fifteen euros), while special prices for team participations, clubs, National Guard, Police – Fire Brigade, British Forces personnel, UNFICYP personnel, while conscript National Guards can participate free of charge. Registration for the race includes the Finisher’s Medal, a BIB with an electronic timing chip from MyLaps water at the refueling stations and at finish line water, fruit and rosewater.

Registered runners can travel FREE of CHARGE by bus to and from the venue location, on the day of the event, using our Sponsor’s , the Cyprus Public Transport, buses.
