The race begins and concludes at the iconic centenarian oak tree on the village’s main road.
- Initial Segment: Runners will traverse a paved road leading into the Katouris dry riverbed, flanked by dense vegetation providing ample shade.
- Ascent: Upon reaching the Katouris river dam, participants will embark on an uphill journey through forest roads and trails, encountering steep slopes and fire protection zones.
- Scenic Views: The course offers breathtaking vistas of Pyrgos Bay’s deep blue waters and the surrounding landscapes.
- Descent: After passing through Pano Pyrgos village, runners will descend back to the main road, leading to the finish line.
