TROODOS GEOPARK TRAILRUN 4 FUN
A challenging event for trail runners, starting in the village of Kato Amiantos at 09:00 am. Runners will enjoy the gorgeous picturesque coupled with the incomparable beauty of the deserted Amiantos mine and view of the wooded area, the rugged paths of Troodos.
The athletes will cover a 12.2 km route that combines an asphalt route when exiting and entering the village, forest roads with uphill and flat tracks. En route there will be a refueling station at the 8km where water, rosewater and fruit will be offered. Upon arrival and collection of their BIB, the athletes will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional breakfast and coffee, while at the finish line there will be refreshments, fruit, and other delicacies courtesy of the Kato Amiantos Community Council

PARTICIPATION FEE
The cost of participation in the race is €20.00 (twenty euros), while special prices will be offered for team participations, clubs, National Guard, Police – Fire Brigade, British Forces personnel, UNFICYP personnel, while conscript national guards can participate free of charge.
Registration for the race includes a finishing medal for the participants, a BIB with an electronic timing chip from MyLaps and of course water, fruit, rosewater and soft drinks both at the refueling stations and at the finish. Also at the finish line, local dishes and drinks will be offered by the Community Council of Kato Amiantos.
